Jam Session @ Smokin' with Chris on Tues. 4/10/07

On Tuesday evening Smokin' with Chris, 59 West Center St. Southington CT, hosts a jam session called "Back Room Blues and other kinds of Music" On this passed Tuesday (4/10) the "Big Band" from Hartt school of music showed up. A complete 17 piece band!!! They played big band songs, jazz pieces and several of them jammed with Seabreeze, an acoustic duo, and the owner Chris Conlon. Chris' daughter Atla Conlon sang a couple of jazz vocals. The entire scene was awesome.

You never know who or how many will turn out for a jam session at Smokin' with Chris but if you are looking for something to do on a Tuesday evening, bring your favorite instrument, or just come and listen. A good time is sure to be had by all.
